PHILOSOPHY
John has many life experiences which have shaped his positive view and leadership style. His father was a Marine in the Korean War, John has earned the rank of Eagle Scout, was raised in the Catholic church, earned a Mechanical Engineering degree, was the Commander of the Fightin’ Texas Aggie Band during its centennial year and notably created two successful businesses in unsteady markets. Through his experiences while serving on the boards of several major non-profits, John recognizes how getting involved can make a difference in people’s lives. He understands that government programs are not the most efficient ways to help those in need. John works hard as a business owner; he feels the burden of high taxes and big government. Even at this age, John has had an enriched life full of experiences that he can rely on to help serve others.
Caldwell County has many opportunities coming its way. It is up to the leaders of this county to make sure the growth is quality controlled. Making the right decisions now will protect future generations from the results of untimely and unwanted development. The people of this great county deserve excellence.
